We Can Build It
Introduction
This case study demonstrates my understanding and experience for assembly, install and dismantle, and my ability to navigate the show floor. It also illustrates that I can work with your company’s existing booth properties to effectively project manage labor crews.

The Challenge/ Opportunity the Customer Faced
Eberl had their 20x20 custom exhibit designed and built through their marketing agency. At the last hour of the build and getting ready to ship it out to debut at its first show, Eberl realized they needed help after finding out their design agency was not equipped to provide logistical or show site services and the exhibit was shipping in one week.
Why Eberl Claims Services Chose Harrod Consulting
Harrod Consulting was referred to the marketing director by the designer on the project. The designer and I have worked on other projects together and knew I could act fast and would be a good fit for Eberl. I met the marketing director at the build shop for our first meeting and was hired.
How We Responded
I responded very quickly to meet the ship out deadline and show site delivery date. I literally met with the builder as the last pieces of the steel structure were being welded and the company sign being test hung. The builder walked me through the exhibit as it stood mostly complete in the shop, explaining, and identifying all the pieces to the structure. At the same time the designer and I were discussing detailed set up instructions. I met with the builder one more time to inspect and understand the pieces as they were being packed into crates. I was able to complete all the show orders required for the booth and secure my trusted labor team. I traveled to the show site and provided supervision and guidance to the labor crew for install and dismantle and I was able to teach my client the ways of the show floor so she had a better understanding of the entire process.
The Results
The exhibit arrived on time for the scheduled show site delivery date. Install and dismantle went smooth and no additional labor hours had to be billed. Upon the return I suggested some structure additions to the booth and created inventory documents for the client. My role continued with Eberl, providing show order and logistic coordination along with show site project management each year the exhibit was used.
